About Me

My career path has been squiggly and while it started with me interviewing on the red carpet, then launching and editing entertainment websites and managing national digital marketing campaigns, I ultimately wanted to make the internet and digital services better for the people that use it so I pivoted into a UX design career and never looked back.

I have a desire to help people get information in accessible ways and am constantly learning, about people and technology,  figuring out better ways to understand technology and the barriers and opportunities we have to make it better. As well as working as UX Designer, I teach and mentor UX/UI to students of King’s College London’s Product Design Career Accelerator, a master’s level professional postgraduate certificate that allows career-changers the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of UX while working with a client on a real world project.

I’ve recently left Cancer Research UK as a Senior UX Researcher and Designer as I move from London to Auckland. I’m mother to two amazing little people who join me in my creative artistic pursuits or going on long walks.
